Datura releases Legume 4.0 for SQL Server
Howell, MI - June 15, 2016 Michigan software company Datura LLC is pleased to announce the release of Legume 4.0 for SQL Server, a new product line that works with a Microsoft SQL Server database to help engineers and other technical customers handle their special database problems.
“Engineers often need to reorganize their design on a constant basis”, explains Datura’s president, Dean Keith. “So if their database cannot change quickly enough, they end up storing their data in spreadsheets or other files that end up being lost in the shuffle quickly.”
Legume comes with a number of built-in features: • Automatically adapts to the imported data • All changes are archived so that they can be tracked and rolled back. • All data can be tagged by project, source, authorization, security status, etc. • Any data can be tagged with units and other modifiers. • Can be inserted into existing databases to extend their capabilities.
Legume comes in various versions: Design Library, Master Reference, Research DB, and Repository for unlimited users, as well as versions for small businesses and single users.
All versions of Legume can convert structured data from tables and spreadsheets, as well as unstructured data, such as XML and RDF formats. Since Legume is built on a relational database, you can manipulate the data using SQL and attach it to your tools.
Legume 4.0 for SQL Server requires Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 or greater, including the free Express version of SQL Server.
